🧡 Anua’s sunscreen from the Kpop Demon Hunters collection 🧡
I never thought I would review a sunscreen in collaboration with Netflix, but here we are 😂
This is Anua’s Invisible Matte Finish Sunscreen, in the Kpop Demon Hunters edition. It uses four older-generation chemical UV filters, with SPF50 and PA+++, for protection against both UVA and UVB.
The downside is that some older-generation chemical filters may irritate sensitive skin, and some are less stable in sunlight.
Apart from the filters, it contains:
✅ Silicones and polymers — texture ingredients that help create a smooth feel and a matte finish, like a primer.
✅ Vitamin E — an antioxidant.
✅ Centella asiatica components — asiaticoside, asiatic acid, and madecassic acid, which may help soothe the skin.
✅ No fragrance, essential oils, or drying alcohol.
It is completely clear, leaves no white cast at all, and really is matte as the packaging promises. But its texture is a little unusual: it is very silicone-heavy, just like a primer, and it feels very unpleasant on my skin. Heavy and greasy, even though the finish itself is matte.
Personally, I couldn’t get along with that feeling at all. Some people might like this very silicone-heavy texture, but I think there are better and more comfortable matte sunscreens. I also think the choice of older-generation filters is less successful, so for me it isn’t good enough to recommend.
The brand is cruelty-free 🐰❤️
