Wet N Wild Lash Serum

A few days ago I uploaded a video explaining a small experiment I did on myself in the last two months. Every day, morning and evening, I applied Benton's eyelash serum to my right eye, and wet n wild eyelash serum to my left eye, to see which one was better, and let you judge the results.

The opinions were divided - some of the responses noted that there was no change at all, some noted that Benton is better.

The results came out very subtle, and only if you look carefully you can see that there is a slight improvement in the density of the eyelashes in both eyes, but in Benton a little more. There is almost no change in length, but it actually seems that new eyelashes have grown.

In reality, I can tell you that it is more noticeable when you put mascara on, and then as soon as it has more base to work on (even if it's just a little) it makes a significant difference. In terms of who is better, both have shown improvement but Benton a little more.

Benton's applicator is also more convenient to use. of Wet & Wild stung me many times and it was difficult for me to use it (it may also have affected the results because I was not able to apply the same amount).

The Wet & Wild serum contains:

✅ Niacinamide - for moisturizing and strengthening the skin barrier.

✅ 3 types of peptides, one of which is very popular when used for eyelash extensions because it can encourage the creation of keratin (the protein that makes up hair, eyelashes, and nails).

✅ Castor oil - not exactly scientifically proven, but some women swear that it lengthened their eyelashes.

✅ Glycerin - to moisturize.

⚠️ Alcohol - may dry and irritate. It didn't happen to me personally. I guess it is necessary in this formula to balance the heavy oil.

✅ fragrance-free, essential oils, or prostaglandins.

The price of both products is very accessible and the quantity lasts for a long time.

In my opinion, both products are good, but Benton is a little better. It's nice to have another option because Benton is often out of stock.

At the same time, if you're looking for significant results that look like eyelash glue, you won't see it here. This eyelash serum (and Benton's) does not contain prostaglandins - a very effective family of ingredients for eyelash extension but also with unpleasant side effects (pigmentation, irritation, change in eye color, loss of fat around the eyes, in rare cases also blindness). When there are no prostaglandins and the serum is based on peptides and oils, the results will be more subtle, but the product is also safer, and I personally prefer it.
