The Inkey List Niacinamide

For those who are not yet familiar with this bomb ingredient, you should check that it is in your routine, because it is one of the most popular and loved ingredients out there, and rightfully so!

Niacinamide is vitamin B3, a very effective ingredient for blurring the appearance of pores, lightening and treating pigmentation, balancing sebum production (the sebum our skin produces), it is anti-inflammatory, therefore it also treats acne, redness and rosacea, helps maintain the skin barrier and thus maintain moisture and reduce skin sensitivity.

One of the amazing things about this ingredient is that, although it solves so many different and varied skin problems, it has almost no side effects (in the percentages studied), and therefore can be suitable for all skin types and even sensitive skin. It is also very stable.

I received The Inkey List Niacinamide Serum for review from Superpharm. It contains 10% niancinamide, plus glycerin, squalene oil, hyaluronic acid, allantoin and panthenol which are soothing and hydrating ingredients. Without alcohol, fragrance or essential oils.

The serum is very moisturizing, pleasant on the skin and easily absorbed.

I can't help but make the comparison with The Ordinary's 10% niacinamide serum, which I didn't like because of its silicone and heavy texture. Inky's serum is really not like that and there is no texture problem.

However, 10% niacinamide is more than what is needed, which is 2-5%, and in rare cases can cause sensitivity. The high percentage is a bit unnecessary in my opinion, but I personally did not feel any sensitivity from 10%.

Today this popular ingredient is found in many other products, so there is a good chance that you are already using it in one of your serums or creams, or even in sunscreen. If you don't have niacinamide in your routine, I totally recommend incorporating it, whether it's in a dedicated serum like this or any other product that contains niacinamide.
