SKIN1004 - Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Intensive Ampoule

I've tried almost all of SKIN1004's probiotic-sica series (the brown series). I already reviewed the sunscreen and moisturizer which were excellent, so let's talk about the serum.

The serum is a light milky serum, you could even say an emulsion, whose purpose is to soothe irritated skin, strengthen the skin barrier and improve moisture. The series is very suitable for dry/sensitive skin, as is the serum.

It contains ingredients very similar to moisturizer and sunscreen:

✅ Centella asiatica - the company's flagship ingredient. A soothing ingredient, strengthens the skin barrier, reduces redness and is an antioxidant. In addition, the product contains fermented Centella asiatica, and the company's promise is that the fermented Centella acts like a vegan probiotic and contains antioxidants and ceramides.

✅ Glycerin - to moisturize. Glycerin is found in almost every cosmetic product due to its effectiveness and safety.

✅ Niacinamide - a favorite and popular ingredient that can help with moisture, strengthening the skin barrier, acne, brightening, balancing sebum production, and P. I. E.

✅ Arginine - an amino acid that is found in our skin naturally, and can increase the moisture in the skin, calm it, and restore it.

✅ Adenosine - found in our skin naturally, and can strengthen the skin barrier, restore it and calm it down.

✅ Phytosphingosine- a type of lipid that can treat acne.

✅ Ceramide and lipid - are found in the skin naturally and are responsible for a strong and healthy skin barrier.

✅ hyaluronic acid and glucose - to moisturize.

✅ Betaine and allantoin - to calm the skin.

✅ fragrance-free, drying alcohol or essential oils.

I used it as the first step in the sandwich method in the evening, before the retavit, and it was perfect for that. My skin is dry and it helped to moisturize and soothe, but it is only suitable as an addition to moisture and by itself it is not enough (you also need a moisturizer on top if your skin is dry). All in all, the products in the brown series are very good, and I liked them all. The price is also very affordable in relation to the amount of the serum.

The only thing that bothered me is that the pipette of the serum does not match the texture of the product. The serum is too thick and the pipette does not take out enough of it, and I had to fight for every drop that came out. And at the end there was also material below that I could not remove. They should have found more suitable packaging for the formula. This is a problem I have noticed with other products from this brand.

The brand is cruelty-free 🐰❤️
