I'm sure that at least half of you know this product from personal experience or at least have heard of it, but I'll give my opinion anyway 😀
The liquid blushes of Rare Beauty, the brand of Selena Gomez, have gone crazy on the web and especially Tiktok. Every time I saw a video with them it looked so good on everyone's skin, so of course I had to try it myself.
At first it was difficult to get the shades in Sephora Britannia so the first shade I bought is a bit challenging - grateful. It's a screaming red shade.
If there's one thing you should know about Rare Beauty's liquid blushes, it's that they are very, very, very(!) pigmented. At a level I'm no longer sure it's an advantage. It is very difficult to control them, half a point will be enough for you for the entire cheek and above, and if you slightly exceed the amount, it looks like a disease 😂
So when it comes to screaming red it's even tougher and harder to control.
It took me a while to figure out the amount and how exactly to apply it so it would look good on my skin tone. In my opinion, the most convenient is to apply a spot on the hand and collect with a brush, and not apply directly to the face.
Then I also managed to order encourage and believe. More subtle shades that are quite similar and on the skin I hardly distinguish between them. They are also pigments but less "shouting" and easier to control.
The blushes give a shiny and "clean" look and I think that's why they have become so trendy.
They work great on a ceramic base and are durable. The price is not cheap at all, unfortunately, but I really like it.
I ordered from Sephora Britannia (from what I saw on the other sites, it's not worth it).
The brand is cruelty-free 🐰❤️
