Purito SEOUL - Luminous Moisture Shea Butter Body Lotion - 3 Types

Not many people know this, but Koreans are not only good at facial care, they are also good at body care.

PURITO has 3 body creams in different fragrances - cotton dreamlight, ocean breeze, and midnight romance. Each of the fragrances is inspired by South Korea 🇰🇷:

ocean breeze- inspired by Busan, the southernmost port city and the second largest city in South Korea. The notes are lemon, mandarin and grapefruit, jasmine, violet, musk and woods.

midnight romance- inspired by Seoul, the capital city. A big city with a lively nightlife. The notes are mandarin and bergamot, flowers, musk, woods and amber.

cotton dreamlight - a clean scent inspired by the traditional life in Korea ("hanok"). The notes are delicate flowers, aquatic notes, musk, sandalwood and vanilla.

In terms of ingredients, it contains:

✅ Glycerin - a classic and very effective moisturizer.

✅ Shea butter - supports softening and reducing dryness. Contains antioxidants.

✅ Camellia oil is rich in fatty acids, especially oleic acid, which helps to soften the skin.

✅ Common star extract - it is said to be antioxidant and soothing, but there is not much research on the subject. PURITO They say the extract comes from Jeju Island in South Korea. I feel that it is there as part of the marketing of the creams to represent South Korea and less as an effective ingredient in the product, but it is probably not harmful.

*Note that it says alcohol in the ingredient list, but it's not the drying type of alcohol!

I chose the cotton scent and it's really very clean and powdery and I got a lot of compliments on it. The smell is not very strong. It is quite gentle and does not take over.

The texture of the cream is something between a gel and a cream. It is very light and absorbs quickly, which makes it especially comfortable in the summer. Because of its lightness, it is not super sealing, so if your skin is dry or very dehydrated on the body, you may need a thicker cream. For normal skin without special problems, it will be excellent for everyday use.
