Purito, Daily Soft Touch Sunscreen

PURITO released a new sunscreen, and of course I had to try it. This sunscreen is supposed to be a reformulated version of their successful sunscreen that they stopped producing in 2020, because they discovered that its SPF is lower than expected. This sunscreen (and the other two from PURITO) have undergone 2 tests in both Korea and Italy, so you can be sure that its protection is good ☀️

It contains 5 chemical filters, all of the new generation, which is very impressive! In addition to filters, it contains other good ingredients such as:

✅ Centella asiatica - a soothing, restorative and antioxidant ingredient. Can also help P. I. E (red spots after acne).

✅ Niacinamide - a favorite and popular ingredient that can help with moisture, strengthening the skin barrier, acne, brightening, balancing sebum production, and P. I. E.

✅ Several types of hyaluronic acid - to moisturize.

✅ Adenosine - restores the skin barrier and strengthens it.

✅ Licorice - soothes and brightens the skin.

✅ fragrance-free, alcohol, or essential oils.

In terms of texture, it is super light but also moisturizing. It absorbs quickly, does not leave a noticeable white cast, non-sticky, and gives a glowing and healthy look. It's really easy to load a lot of it because it's not heavy. It doesn't pill, didn't burn in my eyes.

It has a slightly green tint, probably from one of the ingredients, but don't worry about it, you don't see it on the skin at all (and you know I apply a lot).

I think it will suit all skin types in the summer. Those with oily skin probably won't need a moisturizer underneath because in my opinion it's moisturizing enough (just note that it does glow, so at your discretion). In winter, those with dry skin may prefer a more creamy sunscreen, or simply put a good moisturizer underneath. As someone with dry skin, I used it in the summer under a light moisturizing gel and it was enough for me.

Its only downside is that it is not water resistant, so don't go to the beach/pool/sports activities with it. It will suit everyday, home-office.

Lately, every sunscreen that PURITO puts out is simply better than the last. If I have to compare it to Daily Soft Touch, which is also excellent, then the new one is lighter than it and suitable for summer. The Daily Soft Touch is perfect for winter.

It reminds a bit of Benton (only without the essential oil ✅).

I ordered it at YesStyle, but recently it also arrived at iHerb. Note that it contains a little more than a standard sunscreen (60 ml compared to 50 ml), therefore the price is a little more expensive but it is still very worthwhile.
