The cream is branded for the treatment of eczema - a chronic skin disease whose symptoms are red, dry and itchy skin. I don't have eczema, but its ingredients are great for everyone and not just for those who suffer from the disease.
The main ingredient in the cream is 1% oats - a very soothing ingredient, which restores and strengthens the damaged skin barrier, and reduces redness. Besides oats, it contains a mixture of oils including squalene, shea butter, and sunflower oil, which keep the skin moist. It also contains ceramide which is excellent in maintaining the skin barrier and moisture in the skin. fragrance-free, essential oils or alcohol.
The ingredients are very similar to Life's Oatmeal BB cream, but in terms of texture they are not that similar. Life's cream has a balmy and thick texture, and here it is a lighter cream (not a gel, still a cream). It gives very little greasy feeling after.
I also used it for the face but I found out that it is also perfect for the body! It keeps my dry skin moisturized for a long time.
Personally, it worked less for me as a rescue cream for cases of broken skin barrier, and did not provide immediate relief, but in my opinion it is good for everyday use for those with dry or dehydrated skin, for those with sensitive and red skin, for those who suffer from eczema and atopic dermatitis (asthma of the skin), and also for babies. For oily skin on a hot summer day it can be too heavy in my opinion.
Another advantage is that it is very accessible - it comes in a large quantity of 177 ml and costs NIS 60 at iHerb before discounts (as of writing this post).
The brand is cruelty-free 🐰❤️
