Numbuzin - No.2 Rose PDRN Collagen Plumping Serum

The strongest trend in the world of cosmetics right now, and especially in Korean cosmetics, is PDRN. You may have heard of it as "salmon seed" (this particular serum is vegan and not derived from salmon).

So what is pdrn anyway?

pdrn (or in the long name polydeoxyribonucleotide) are DNA fragments that are usually produced from salmon sperm, but there are also vegan ones. It activates biological processes in the skin that cause it to enter a state of restoration - treat inflammation, reduce redness, and calm the skin. When injected into the skin it can even encourage the creation of collagen and elastin.

PDR-N is more studied in direct injections into the skin, or with microneedling or lasers, and less proven in home use by applying it to the skin. I will mention that I tried it in Korea with a laser and saw no change, but that's a topic for another time. Let's talk about this Nambazine serum.

This serum is based on pdrn 5% vegan that is produced from rebels, and the company's promise that it helps the skin regenerate and restore.

In addition to this it also contains:

✅ 8 types of peptides that can restore the skin, encourage the creation of collagen and elastin, improve skin elasticity.

✅ Niacinamide - a favorite and popular ingredient that can help with moisture, strengthening the skin barrier, acne, brightening, balancing sebum production, and P. I. E.

✅ A vitamin C derivative that is especially suitable for acne skin and is also an antioxidant.

✅ hyaluronic acid, glycerin, collagen - to moisturize.

✅ fragrance-free, alcohol, or essential oils.

I used it right up to the end and mostly felt it was a moisturizing serum, nothing life changing (but not bad either).

Its texture is jelly, it gives a stunning glow even in the short term. It also worked well for me with Medicov's device.

Many of the successful cosmetic products that are marketed as pdrn serums also contain many other good ingredients that can have just as much of an effect on the skin, so I'm not convinced that the change here is from the DNA, but it's not a bad product. It sounds like another case of being served the same beloved, good and well-known ingredients, under the marketing of something innovative.
