Murad Face Mask

I think it's the most expensive skincare product I've bought, just because the ingredients were interesting and I was curious if it was worth it.

This is a clay mask for treating acne, which contains a combination of ingredients that are good for acne:

✅ 5% Sulfur - a ingredient not so common, but very good for acne because it is antibacterial. It can also help Seburia. Its big disadvantage is that it is very smelly, it smells like a boiled egg 😂

✅ salicylic acid - an oil-soluble acid that penetrates deep into the pores and cleans them. It is excellent for cleaning oily skin, for acne, for preventing blackheads, for texture, and for a less noticeable pore appearance.

✅ Zinc - anti-inflammatory, absorbs fat, soothes irritated skin.

✅ Kohlin and Bentonite - 2 types of clay that absorbs fat and cleans the skin. can dry the skin on the other hand as well.

✅ Glycerin, urea - to balance moisture.

✅ Betaine, Altonine, amino acids - to calm and strengthen the skin barrier.

✅ Ginger extract - soothing and antioxidant.

⚠️ Eucalyptus essential oil - on the one hand antibacterial, on the other hand may irritate those who are sensitive. It may help with the neutralization of the smell of the sulfur.

My main concern with this product was the sulfur smell, which as good as it is, I already know from experience that it is a smell that is hard to tolerate. I was surprised to find that somehow they managed to neutralize the smell of the sulfur and it is not noticeable at all.

At first I tried the mask for the whole face and it was very drying, and even then my skin is dry.

Then, when I felt the need to clean the skin more deeply, I used only the nose area, where the pores are more prominent. It did help clear the pores in the short term.

At the same time, I don't think the price justifies what you get. Paying almost NIS 200 for a clay mask with standard ingredients (not special, not patented, not something innovative), is excessive. But I'm glad I got rid of the doubt that it's worth something 😂
