A few months ago, Cure sent me their needle stickers to try out. The patches contain small needles that melt into the skin and help to introduce good ingredients:
✅ Retinol - pure vitamin A, part of the popular retinoid family. Retinol can renew the skin, and encourage the creation of collagen and elastin, thus treating wrinkles and improving skin elasticity. Its main disadvantage is that it can irritate sensitive skin.
✅ Copper peptide - it can also encourage the creation of collagen and elastin and treat wrinkles.
✅ Argireline - a peptide that is usually marketed as a substitute for Botox, because it can refine wrinkles. The main problem with it is that it is not easily absorbed, so using it in this form of needles that are absorbed into the skin could be more effective in theory.
✅ Caffeine - can reduce swelling under the eyes and is also an antioxidant.
✅ Licorice - can brighten and soothe the skin.
✅ hyaluronic acid - to moisturize.
✅ Centella asiatica- soothing and antioxidant.
In addition to the fact that the good ingredients are inserted better, in my opinion there is also a type of gentle microneedling here that also encourages the creation of collagen and elastin in itself.
You are supposed to put the stickers in the areas you want to focus on, like under the eyes and expression lines. I put under the eyes for darkness and small wrinkles and also in the area of the smile. You have to leave it for a few hours for the needles to melt into the skin properly, it is best to leave it all night. You can do the treatment once a week.
I was afraid it would hurt and irritate my skin, especially in the thin area under the eyes, but it didn't. The needles are felt but it doesn't hurt at all. I was worried that the retinol would be too much, but it didn't cause any irritation at all (on the other hand, my skin is used to stronger retinoids).
It took a while to see a real improvement and you have to persevere with it, but after a few months I saw an improvement in the beginning of a small wrinkle I had in the area of the smile, only on the left side for some reason. It disappeared and hasn't returned since. I'm a little skeptical that it's really from the stickers but I haven't made any other changes that could have an effect. I didn't notice a significant change in my eyes, but many times I do things for prevention as well and not just for treatment.
The only downside in my opinion is the expensive price. Each package has 8 pairs, each package costs NIS 230 after my discount, which comes out to about NIS 30 per pair.
Bottom line, this is an excellent product but not cheap. If you have the budget and want to invest in it, I recommend it.
The brand is cruelty-free 🐰❤️
