One of my discoveries of the year. This product has undoubtedly improved my quality of life. I worry much less about smell, even when I sweat, even during a hard workout, and I can even run a marathon and not smell bad - because it neutralizes any trace of smell. The beauty is that it is enough to use it only once a week for the magic to work.
What am I talking about?
It's actually not a regular deodorant. It's a cream that you put on once a week and neutralizes the smell created by sweat. It *doesn't* prevent sweat, it only neutralizes the smell that follows the sweat, so I still have to use a normal deodorant that absorbs the sweat itself.
It does not clog pores, hypoallergenic, alcohol-free and aluminum-free.
how does it work
"Our sweat gets a bad name, but it turns out it's not to blame for the unpleasant odor our bodies sometimes produce. In fact, sweat is almost odorless! The real culprit is a bacteria that is on our skin and "eats" the sweat molecule. By neutralizing the activity of the bacteria that cause the smell, Lavelin deodorant eliminates the original cause of the smell, rather than only "covering" it - when there is no bacteria, there is no smell. Only when the activity of the bacteria returns, does the smell return, and you have to put Abilene again.''
(translated from their website).
How to use?
According to the instructions I received with the product, you should first take a break from deodorant for 3 days, I didn't do that because I can't be without deodorant for 3 days and it worked for me even without it.
Then (or not), after a shower, on clean and dry skin, you should put a thin layer of the cream in the armpit and leave it overnight. Some people will have to repeat the operation the night after, it depends on your skin. The cream dries and turns into a powder.
In addition, for some people the effect will last a week and for some even a few weeks. It varies from skin to skin.
Where do you buy?
I bought from iHerb because I buy full from them anyway and it's convenient for me that it arrives at home.
I know there is a brand in Israel called 'Halbin' that works on the same principle and you can buy it in pharmacies. I didn't try.
The brand is cruelty-free 🐰❤️
