Honestly, I never understood the part about toners for moisture, after all, I have a moisturizer, why do I need more?
But this toner is really worth this step, especially in winter when the skin needs extra moisture 🤩
So it's basically defined as an essence, which means its texture is something between a toner and a serum. A little thicker than a toner but less than a serum.
What does it contain?
* Chia seed oil - antioxidant, restores the skin barrier, contributes to moisture
* Green tea - antioxidant, soothing, balances sebum production in the skin
* ceramides - contribute to moisture and maintaining a healthy skin barrier
* Collagen - contributes to moisture
* Vitamin C - antioxidant, brightener (good for pigmentation)
* A mild retinoid derivative
* Fermented rice (sake) - antioxidant, moisturizing, soothing
* Acai- brightening, antioxidant
fragrance-free or essential oils. with alcohol at the end of the list (and probably at a low percentage).
I use it at the beginning of my evening routine and that's how I start with more moisturized skin before all the active ingredients. It is really perfect, provides full moisture and the skin balances quickly and feels healthier!
It's totally what my skin needed in the winter, especially when I use retinol along with another rich night cream.
It can also be used in the morning and it will be effective because of all the antioxidants in it that help fight the damage created by free radicals 🌞
There is a large amount here that lasts for a while and it is totally worth it.
In short - I really liked this essence☺️
In my opinion, those who feel a little dry in the winter can contribute a lot to them!
Update: It is not entirely clear to me if The brand is cruelty-free. They state yes on their website. I am currently checking with them by email. I will update☺️
