I've already told you before about the Kamedis shampoo, which is great for dandruff and seborrhea, but recently Kamedis had to change the formula a bit, due to changes in European regulations.
Perinthion zinc, an ingredient that can help treat dandruff and seborrhea, has been banned for use in Europe, following suspicions that it could be toxic and dangerous. Before the change in the law, it was allowed to be used in a concentration of up to 1% in shampoos and 0.5% in other preparations that are washed off.
Despite this, the shampoo still contains excellent ingredients for dandruff and seborrhea, such as:
✅ salicylic acid - treats dandruff.
✅ The nut of the soap tree - a cleaning ingredient that helps in the treatment of dandruff. It is also an insecticide and can help treat lice.
✅ Climbazole - antibacterial and antifungal, can treat dandruff.
✅ Pyroctone olemin - a relatively new ingredient for the treatment of dandruff and calming the scalp. There is also research that has shown that it can treat shedding and lengthen hair, but I doubt it is effective in shampoo that is washed out.
It does not contain essential oils or alcohol. It contains fragrance at the end of the list and probably in a low percentage. This is less critical when it comes to a product that is washed off the scalp and does not remain.
I don't suffer from seborrhea but my partner does. During the last seborrhea outbreak, a few months ago, I gave him this shampoo (in the new version) and their face cream from the same series, and there was an amazing improvement. Already from the first use saw a significant change! Today he does not leave them and no outbreak has returned since then.
Quite a few followers with seborrhea also wrote to me that they are satisfied with the Kamedis seborrhea series, so I totally recommend trying it for those who haven't tried it yet 🙂
