I received the product for review from Kamedis. When I told you for the first time that I was in their offices, the first response I received from you was about their shampoo which is very helpful for those who suffer from seborrhea, and that's how I realized that it is probably the company's flagship product.
It is part of the series for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis, and should also help with psoriasis, dandruff and a dry, irritated or red scalp.
It contains a combination of several ingredients that can help treat dandruff and seborrhea:
- salicylic acid - treats dandruff.
- Perinthion zinc - treats dandruff and seborrhea.
- The nut of the soap tree - a cleaning ingredient that helps treat dandruff. It is also an insecticide and can help treat lice.
It does not contain essential oils or alcohol. It contains fragrance at the end of the list and probably in a low percentage. This is less critical when it comes to a product that is washed off the scalp and does not remain.
It has a slightly strange smell but it doesn't bother me because it's not strong and doesn't stay on hair. From what I understand from Kamedis, some of their plants contain unpleasant odors, so they neutralize them with a little fragrance.
My experience:
My scalp is prone to dryness, so I'm always looking for shampoos that are gentler but also cleansing, and this shampoo does meet that requirement. It does not dry hair or make frizz but it does clean.
I can't vouch for dandruff treatment because before that I used a dandruff shampoo that helped me, but what I can say is that the dandruff didn't come back after I switched to it, so it passed the prevention test.
I don't suffer from seborrhea, so I can't testify about that, but if you have any opinions about it, I'd love for you to add it in the comments 🙂
The brand is cruelty-free 🐰❤️
