Kamedis CLEAR Spot Treatment

I received the product for review from Kamedis. It's a spot treatment for pimples as part of their series for acneic and oily skin.

First of all, I have to say that from reading the ingredients I was sure I was going to hate it and I wasn't sure if I should try it, but it is definitely a product that surprised me and reinforced the concept that you can't always tell everything from the ingredients.

What are the ingredients?

• 2 types of alcohol of the drying type - one in a high place (third) and one in a low place. The problem with alcohol is that it can dry out and damage the skin barrier. The advantage of alcohol is that it helps the ingredients penetrate better. From my experience, usually in spot treatment products with alcohol, the alcohol is very noticeable, very drying to the point of damaging the skin and leaving spots that are difficult to get rid of later. In this case I really didn't notice it. The product is not very runny, there is no strong smell of alcohol and it never hurt my skin or left a stain.
• salicylic acid - an acid from the beta hydroxy family (BHA). It dissolves in oil, penetrates deep into the pores and cleans them, so it is good for treating pimples. As far as I understood from Kamedis, the percentage of salicylic here is 2%, which is the maximum allowed by law.
• A combination of plant extracts from Chinese medicine with antibacterial properties (this means that they can treat the acne bacteria) and anti-inflammatory properties (they can reduce the redness from the pimple and restore the skin), among them: Phellodendron Amurense Bark Extract, Scutellaria, Sanguisorba, Portulaca Oleracea Extract.
• fragrance towards the end of the list and probably in a low percentage.

It is orange-brown in color and very thick. It has the texture of glue, and if you apply a thin layer on a patch and wait a few minutes, the product will harden over the pimple and become like a protector on the pimple (reminiscent of the concept of the stickers) and at the same time treats it.

My skin is acneic and even though I treat it with Adeplin, I still sometimes get pimples that leave annoying spots. I've been using their spot treatment for about two months and I felt it works great. It clears my pimples super fast, and better than that, it takes away their annoying redness in record time. At the level of there is an amazing improvement overnight. It never left a pigmentation spot and no chewing at all.

Kamedis surprised me like crazy. I've been hurt before by spot treatments that contain a lot of alcohol but it's a whole different story here. My guess is that the ingredients are very thick and they needed something to thin them out and penetrate them better and this is where the alcohol played a role.
