Kamedis CLEAR Facial Cleanser

I received the product for review from Kamedis.

First of all, what is salicylic acid?

Salicylic acid is an acid from the beta hydroxy family (BHA). It dissolves in oil, penetrates deep into the pores and cleans them, and helps to shed dead skin. Thanks to these properties, it is very effective in treating acne, cleaning oily skin and preventing blackheads or whiteheads.

Salicylic acid is effective both in the soap and in the leave-on product. Soap is a gentler way to use salicylic in the routine because soap washes off the face very quickly.

Salicylic also helped me a lot in the treatment of keratosis pilaris in the body (the so-called "strawberry skin").

Kamedis soap contains:

• 2% salicylic acid (the maximum percentage allowed).
• Portulaca Oleracea Extract - a popular plant extract in Korean medicine that is used to treat irritated skin and infections. It is anti-inflammatory and has the ability to heal and restore the skin.
• Sapindus Mukurossi Fruit Extract- an extract from a tree that grows in Asia. It is a cleaning ingredient but not only - it is also an antioxidant and has anti-microbial and anti-cancer properties. In Asia it is used as an insecticide to treat lice, but it is less relevant here.
• Moisturizing and softening ingredients such as glycerin, jojoba oil and squalene oil.
• fragrance at the end of the list and probably in a low percentage.

I use it for 35 days and I saw good results very quickly. I will divide my experience with it into 2 areas:

For the body I use salicylic soap for my keratosis pilaris ("strawberry skin"). Before that I used Inky List soap which is also excellent and worked, but I feel that Kamedis soap is even more effective.

for my face - until today I avoided using salicylic for my face because my skin type is dry and I thought it would not suit it. Inky List's salicylic soap dried it out. I debated whether to try salicylic soap for the face again, and in the end I decided to give it a chance. Not every day, but once every two days (salicylate day, another soap day).

To my surprise this soap does not dry me out at all. Excellent cleaner without drying. There is a noticeable improvement in the pores. The appearance of the sebaceous filaments in the nose (what most of us confuse with blackheads) is significantly reduced.

This soap has proven some transformative formulas for me, and changed my anti from salicylic acid to dry skin.

Kamedis markets this soap for oily skin, but I can tell you from my experience that I think it is also suitable for dry skin (perhaps not used daily, but 3-4 times a week is also effective).

It is important to note that it has a slightly strange smell, probably from the plants, but I personally got used to it.
