Kamedis CALM Collection

The Kamedis pen series (the blue series) is intended for the treatment of atopic dermatitis (eczema, asthma of the skin). This is a chronic skin inflammation that is mostly common in children (but also in adults), and can manifest itself in itching, redness, and extreme dryness. Atopic dermatitis cannot be cured since it is a chronic skin disease, but its symptoms can be soothed, and that is exactly what the Kamedis pen series excels at.

The series contains a cream (which I already reviewed and recommended many years ago 🙂 ), spot treatment for bites, soap (for face and body), and hand cream.

Kamedis are based on Chinese medicine, and their products contain herbal extracts that have been proven to soothe the skin, for example:

✅ Scutellaria - anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant.

✅ Most of the time - antibacterial, antioxidant.

✅ Sanguisorba - anti-inflammatory, antioxidant.

✅ Cnidium - antimicrobial, can restore and reduce skin itching.

In addition, they contain other ingredients that are great for strengthening the skin barrier and moisturizing, such as ceramides, lipids, amino acids, and shea butter.

🩵 The cream is a rich and "heavy" moisturizer that really seals the moisture in the skin, excellent for extreme dryness. It is also suitable for babies from six months of age. I like it mainly for the body. Although I don't have atopic dermatitis, I do have dry skin (also on my body 😢) and I get to use it during periods of dryness and itching on my back, for example, and it's really amazing for that and soothes everything. Its main disadvantage is that it has a brown color and a not so pleasant smell due to the high concentration of the plants. It's a very therapeutic product and less intended for "indulgence", and it's important for me to mention that so you don't think the product is broken and you know what to expect.

🩵 The spot treatment is for local irritation such as mosquito bites. Unfortunately mosquitoes die on it and I got to use it quite a few times and it works amazingly! Although it does not raise the sting, it does soothe the area and prevents me from continuing to itch.

🩵 The soap is a soap for both the body and the face and is also suitable for babies. I was surprised to find that there is a soap that is suitable for both the body and the face but is not drying at all (and believe me my skin is dry so it does not flow with any soap 😂).

If you suffer from atopic dermatitis or extreme dryness, I highly recommend trying this series, especially the cream. Kamedis specializes in treating skin problems of this type. Of course, this is not a substitute for medicine or advice from your dermatologist 💞
