Kamedis BIO BALANCE Moisturizer

Those who have been following here for a while know how much I love Kamedis products and how much I made you fall in love with them too, so there is no greater joy than me to recommend them again 🙂

This cream is part of the Bio Balance series (the purple series) whose main purpose is to treat sensitive skin and strengthen the skin barrier. My skin is not naturally sensitive but lately I have been using a lot of strong active ingredients that make it difficult for my skin barrier, and I needed soothing products to balance it out.

I've been using it every night for the past few months and I've been amazed at how amazingly it works, soothing and strengthening the skin. I really saw a change in how much the skin is calm and less red than when I used it and when I didn't, and I already managed to finish an entire cream!

It contains:

✅ Extract from the bark of the shin tree - an extract from a tree originating in China. It is anti-inflammatory, can soothe redness and irritation. It is also antibacterial - can help pimples. And it is also an antioxidant and fights against the damage of free radicals.

✅ Sanguisorba extract - a plant that grows in Asia and Europe. Similar to the tooth tree, it is also anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant, and can help with irritations and redness.

✅ Shea butter - for moisturizing and softening, also contains antioxidants.

✅ hyaluronic acid, squalane, glycerin and panthenol - classic ingredients for moisturizing, soothing and softening.

✅ Bisvolol - the active ingredient in chamomile, soothes and restores the skin.

✅ Sunflower oil - conditioner.

* Coconut oil - emollient and contains important fatty acids. Note that coconut oil is considered comedogenic, so it is not recommended to use it in its 100% pure form if you have acneic skin, *but* here it is an ingredient that is part of the formula and in a low percentage, so the chance that it will affect your acne is not high. I can testify that I have acne skin and it didn't cause me any problems (the opposite!), but everyone will make their own decisions ❤️

✅ free of fragrance, alcohol, and essential oils.

Its texture is relatively thick and a little greasy, very suitable for dry skin (like mine). I used it in the evening, for the day it would be too heavy in my opinion. They also have a serum from the same series that is lighter in texture for those looking for something light.

In my opinion, this is an amazing product for dry or sensitive skin and I highly recommend it.
