Isntree - Onion Newpair Clear Pad

I received these pads as a gift along with the whole onion series from Isntree which are perfect💜

First time I try toners in a pad. It always felt to me that it does unnecessary physical exfoliation, wastes a lot of material and is also harmful to the environment. And Honestly, I was not wrong.

There are 60 pads here that are enough for 60 days of daily use. Each pad is soaked in toner which is enough for much more than the face, so I also started applying the leftovers to my neck, décolletage, hands. Usually toners are enough for me for much more than two months.

In terms of texture, the pad is more delicate than I thought, so the irritation is not bad at first, but after a few days you start to feel it.

It sucks that it comes in the form of a pad, because the ingredients themselves are not bad:

✅ Onion extract - not very scientifically based, but it is said that onion extract can help scars after surgery. That's why the branding of this series is for scars, but I'm a little skeptical about it. Onion is also antibacterial so can help a little with acne (I wouldn't rely on it as a main acne treatment).

✅ Niacinamide - a favorite and popular ingredient that can help with moisture, strengthening the skin barrier, acne, brightening, balancing sebum production, and P. I. E.

✅ Vitamin C derivative of the SAP type - a vitamin C derivative that is suitable and can even help acne skin. It is an excellent antioxidant, brightens, and encourages collagen production (only over 5%).

✅ tranexamic acid - a relatively new ingredient in the skincare world, but very promising. It is a ingredient mainly intended for the treatment of pigmentation and P. I. E (spots after acne). Another great advantage of it is that it is relatively non-irritating.

✅ Hutonia cordata extract - common in Chinese medicine. Soothes and restores irritated skin and is an antioxidant.

✅ Additional moisturizing and soothing ingredients such as panthenol, adenosine, and hyaluronic acid.

✅ Without drying alcohol, essential oils or fragrance.

I didn't see any change with it at all, if only maybe a worsening of the sensitivity of the skin. In my opinion it is only because of the pad itself and not because of the ingredients.

They also have a normal toner without pads from the same series, which I think could be interesting.

Their moisturizing gel also has similar ingredients and I liked it (there is also a review❤️).
