Isntree, Green Tea Fresh Emulsion

If you've been following here for a while, you know how much I love Isntree's green tea toner, so I couldn't resist trying the emulsion from the same series as well.

An emulsion is something between a milky serum and a light cream. It's just a matter of texture, don't be alarmed by the unfamiliar name.

First of all, let's talk about green tea in skincare in general.

Green tea is one of my favorite ingredients in skin care, because of its many short and long term benefits. It has been studied a lot, so it is a very promising ingredient, especially in high concentration.

*Green tea is an antioxidant, therefore protects the skin from the damage of free radicals.

*It soothes the skin and helps reduce redness and rosacea, therefore excellent for sensitive skin.

*It is anticarcinogenic which means that it prevents DNA damage and even activates enzymes that repair the DNA and thus helps prevent skin cancer.

*It is anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial therefore good for acneic skin or rosacea.

* It is recommended to use it in the morning to get its benefits as an antioxidant, but it is also possible in the evening.

*Green tea contains EGCG which is also an antioxidant and relaxing.

Isntree's green tea emulsion contains green tea second on the list (probably a high percentage).

In addition to green tea, it contains other ingredients that soothe and restore the skin, such as Centella asiatica, blueberry extract, allantoin, licorice, and beta glucan.

It also contains willow bark which functions similarly to salicylic acid only much milder.

fragrance-free, essential oils or alcohol.

I think the emulsion can help those who suffer from red, irritated skin, or PIE spots, or who want to balance the oil balance in the skin.

It can also be used as a moisturizing cream or as a moisturizing serum under the cream. I felt that mine was enough on its own during the day under the sunscreen in the summer, and I didn't feel the need to put another moisturizer on top.

If I compare it to the toner, the toner is definitely more concentrated and in it you can really feel, see and smell the green tea. If you are looking to introduce green tea into your routine, I think the toner will be more effective, but not everyone likes the feeling of the tea on the face, so the emulsion can be a good substitute.

Tomorrow I will upload a texture video where you can see the texture of the emulsion.

The brand is cruelty-free 🐰❤️
