Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops

You asked me to review its ingredients, and even though the ingredients weren't perfect, I saw in the comments how much you like it and decided to try it too.

These are drops that need to be mixed with our moisturizer and it gives the skin a little tan color that stays for a few days after. This is an excellent solution for those who want to tan but not harm their skin.

It took me quite some time to figure out how to actually use this thing. The first few times I put it on before bed and woke up in the morning with shocking orange spots that didn't come off and I said thank you I work from home and no one sees me 😂

But when I used it correctly, it gave a nice, subtle tan, which gradually faded 2-3 days later.

So I'll share some tips on how to use it ("These instructions are written in blood"😂😂):

1. The base cream you mix with should be a really thick cream and not a light gel. And you need a lot of it. Half a teaspoon even as a sunscreen. I've found that mixing the drops on the Advanced Collagen Body Cream works best for me, but I suppose any heavy, plain cream will work.

2. It works best alone. Meaning without anything underneath or just toners. This is one of its disadvantages because it means that if you want to use it, it's better to give up the whole evening routine (but it's not mandatory, it works with people too, it's just absorbed less well).

3. Put just a few drops. You really don't need much. I put one drop and I get a natural tan look, and 2 drops gives me a more tanned look.

4. Chemical peeling before will help it absorb better, but chemical peeling after also removes it faster (ie ingredients that help remove dead cells such as glycolic acid, salicylic, lactic, mandelic...)

It made me a little sensitive sometimes and you already know that my skin is not sensitive at all. I still think it is not suitable for sensitive skin because of the essential oils in it.
