Hello Sunday Sunscreen

I came across this product in duty free in Cyprus. There was a tester there so I tried some of it on my hand. The texture felt very light like a milky serum on the first try. I felt I had to keep trying and review it for you so I purchased the full size.

After I started using it at home in the amount that really should be applied to the face and neck (2.5 ml for the face and neck), I quickly realized that it was a gimmick. In practice, when you apply it on the skin in a thick amount, its texture is no lighter than any Korean sunscreen. They just put it in a pipette package (which only made it harder for me to get out the amount I wanted).

The really worst part is that it is extremely greasy on the skin. You know I love glowing skin, but this is beyond glowing - it's just greasy. It is difficult to apply a thick amount of it because of this oiliness. It also made my hairline greasy and was unbearable.

In terms of ingredients, it is excellent - contains 7 chemical filters, a combination of new and old generation. Thanks to the chemical filters, it leaves no white at all. It also contains a vitamin C derivative that is mainly used as an antioxidant, and it does not contain fragrance/drying alcohol/essential oils.

As good as the ingredients are, ingredients are not everything and sunscreen should first of all be comfortable to use. Maybe it's light compared to British sunscreens, but my standards are Korean 😉
