The Korean company Hero Hero came out with 2 new sunscreens - chemical and mineral. This is the chemical cream, and it contains 5 excellent chemical filters, all of the new generation!
Because it is chemical only it doesn't leave a white cast at all.
Besides the UV filters, it contains other excellent ingredients, such as:
✅ Niacinamide - a ingredient that can help a variety of skin problems such as: lightening, treating post-acne spots, balancing sebum production, acne, strengthening the skin barrier, moisture, and more.
✅ Phytosphingosine- a type of lipid found in our skin naturally, and what is special about it they found that it has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, and this is how it can treat acne!
✅ 4 antioxidants that help protect the skin from free radicals, some from Korean culture, such as rice oil (the flagship ingredient of Haru Haru).
✅ Ingredients that restore and strengthen the skin barrier, such as ceramide, Adenosine, and Biosaccharide Gum-1 (a type of sugar).
✅ fragrance-free, alcohol, or essential oils.
Haru Haru describes the texture of the cream as velvety, and Honestly, I don't think it can be described better than that.
It's a little different from any other Korean sunscreen I've tried so far. The texture is creamy, a little thick, but still very moisturizing. I think most people will be able to forego a moisturizer underneath.
It is not too shiny but not matte either, looks natural. You can put make-up on it and in my opinion it can even provide a good base for make-up.
I think those with normal-dry skin will like it very much, oily skin maybe only in winter. Even those with acneic skin can enjoy it because of the effective ingredient for acne, and also those with sensitive skin, because of the restorative ingredients. My skin is dry and acne prone and I really enjoy it at the moment, and I think in the winter I like it even more.
It is important for me to note that I asked Haru Haru if they performed a test outside of Korea and they said that they are currently in the process of testing in Europe, so for those who care about it, you can wait for the results just in case 🙂
Please note that it is not water resistant so do not enter the sea/pool with it or do sports activities. However I didn't notice it oozing warmth from me.
