I received the product for review from Superpharm.
This is a toner that, according to the manufacturer's promise, is designed to moisturize and soothe the skin.
Among the ingredients:
Aloe vera - soothing, moisturizing
Willow Bark - soothing, works similarly to salicylic acid, only milder
Vitamin C derivative (stable) - brightening, antioxidant
Hemp oil (less than 1%)
fragrance (includes 2 highly allergenic ingredients that must be specified separately)
colors
First of all, I must refer to the ingredients and point out that it is a bit disappointing that the toner is called "hemp toner" and the hemp oil in it is less than 1% (below the phenoxyethanol ingredient).
Yes, there is aloe here which is soothing, but on the other hand there is also a fragrance with 2 ingredients that have such a great potential for allergies that they must be mentioned. It's strange to me that they would add such a fragrance to a toner that is supposed to help irritated skin. Vitamin C is also not the most soothing ingredient and the colors are unnecessary to me. In short, I feel that the toner does not exactly do what it promises and it is difficult for me to define it.
I personally did not feel that he did anything to me. Neither harm nor benefit. It was mostly very sticky to me, I felt like I was putting syrup on my face because of the stickiness and the strong smell of the plasticine.
I know I mentioned the excessive fragrance in each of the Glow Sr. reviews, but it's really hard to ignore, unpleasant, and detracts a lot from the experience of using it.
The applicator is designed for those who use toner pads. I don't like using pads because it's really unnecessary and wastes a lot of material and certainly not good for the environment. I use my hands and it is the most economical. So the applicator was also not comfortable for me, but for those who use pads it will probably be very comfortable for them.
Unfortunately I did not connect 😕
Glow Sr. declare that they do not experiment on animals and their products are vegan. They don't seem to be sold in China or under a different company. Which makes them cruelty-free 🐰♥️
I am currently checking with the company to confirm this for sure. I will update 😊
