Dr. Fischer Sunscreen for Combination to Oily Skin

Dr. Fisher released a series of new sunscreens, and you sent me about a million requests to review them 😂

So Shaked and I decided to try one together.

This is a liquid sunscreen, SPF50, intended for mixed-oily skin. I'll admit that at first I was a little afraid of it, not only because it is not marketed for my skin type (dry), but also because of my bad experience with Dr. Fisher's other sunscreens that I tried last year (there are reviews in the "sunscreen" highlights).

Let's start with the ingredients-

✅ It is based on 6 chemical filters, 3 of the old generation and 3 of the new generation. Which means he won't leaves a noticeable white cast.

✅ Green tea - a soothing and antioxidant ingredient.

✅ Glycerin - to moisturize.

❌ DMDM ​​Hydantoin - a type of preservative that is said to release formaldehyde. The claim is that it is safe at the percentage that is used in skin care products, but I am not enthusiastic about seeing it in the list of ingredients when there are so many options for other preservatives. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I prefer not to use it on a daily basis.

✅ Without drying alcohol, essential oils or fragrance.

Its texture is liquid, light, and it is easily absorbed. It also doesn't leave a greasy or shiny look at all, so I can totally understand why it would suit oily/combination skin. It is also water resistant.

My experience:

I admit I didn't get to try it too much. At the first application everything was fine, it was absorbed quickly and easily. after one reapplication, and I went out in the sun a bit, it started leaking into my eyes (even though it says it's water resistant) and burned a lot, to the point that I had to wash my face with soap in the middle of the day. I must say that my eyes are not sensitive and usually no sunscreen burns my eyes.

It really reminded me in experience of their previous sunscreens that I tried, which my skin really didn't like.

I also had an outbreak of pimples recently, which I can't say 100% is from it because I barely used it, but he could be the cause.

However, it is very comfortable for the body because it is not greasy at all. If they released a body version at an affordable price I would totally buy.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend it. Perhaps it will be more suitable for those with oily skin, who are not sensitive to it in the eyes (a matter of trial and error and it is impossible to predict this in advance).
