Dr. Fischer Genesis Sun Sunscreen

If there's something I didn't think I'd do, it's a review for Dr. Fisher's sunscreen, but you asked for more reviews from the pharmacy, so I couldn't refuse 😅

It contains 6 chemical filters - 3 old generation and 3 new generation, so it doesn't leave a white cast at all. spf50+ and broad spectrum, which means it provides good protection from UVA and UVB.

Besides the UV filters, it contains good ingredients for moisturizing and soothing and antioxidants such as:

Green tea - antioxidant, relaxes and reduces redness.

hyaluronic acid- to moisturize.

Grape extract - antioxidant.

Aquaxyl - for moisturizing and maintaining the skin barrier

Glycerin - to moisturize.

However, unfortunately it also contains many bad ingredients -

It contains a lot of fragrance and the most stimulating kind. There are several types of perfumes that must be indicated on the packaging because they have a tendency to develop allergies in many people, and this cream has 7 (!) fragrance ingredients.

In addition to the fragrance ingredients, there is a preservative here that can be problematic because it releases a little formaldehyde. Professionals say that the amounts are small so the ingredient is safe, but in my opinion why take a risk when there are so many other preservatives?.

Its texture is completely liquid, it is light, easily absorbed, does not leave a greasy or sticky feeling. The finish is natural even towards the matte.

When I tried it on my face I felt that on the one hand it looked good on the skin, but on the other hand after a few hours and several changes it dried me out (dry skin) and especially irritated the eye area.

I usually apply everything on my eyelids in large quantities and nothing irritates me, but here I really felt that the fragrance was too harsh for me.

Then I started using it for the skin of the body and I must say that it was really pleasant to the body. The skin of the body is much thicker than the skin of the face and is not sensitive, so I did not feel irritation or dryness.

So on the one hand there is a light sunscreen here that can suit oily skin, something very rare because I personally have not found a good matte sunscreen. On the other hand, fragrance in illogical amounts.

In my opinion, if Dr. Fisher releases a version of this cream without the fragrance, it could really be one of the best creams for oily skin. And it's a shame that they push fragrance into everything and destroy good formulas 🙁
