Dear, Klairs Hydrating Gel Moisturizer

Klairs released a new moisturizing gel for the Midnight Blue series, which I have been addicted to for years. I finished the blue cream at least 10 times, and the serum two or three times, so when the gel came out I had high expectations.

The gel contains similar ingredients to the rest of the series:

✅ 5 peptides of the type of growth factors (EGF) - a family of ingredients with many benefits, from restoring damaged skin and strengthening the skin barrier, moisture, elasticity, to antiaging (encourages the creation of collagen and elastin), and there is even a little research on pigmentation and acne. The main disadvantage is that they are not cheap.

✅ Guayazola - a soothing and restorative ingredient that gives the formula the stunning blue color found in the entire series. It is also antibacterial and can be effective for redness from acne.

✅ Green tea and Centella asiatica - antioxidants and soothe the skin.

✅ Glycerin and hyaluronic acid - to moisturize.

✅ Arginine and allantoin - for soothing and strengthening the skin barrier.

✅ Niacinamide - a favorite and popular ingredient that can help with a variety of skin problems such as treating post-acne spots, balancing sebum production, acne, strengthening the skin barrier, moisturizing, brightening, and more.

✅ fragrance-free, drying alcohol, or essential oils.

*It has mint leaf extract. Not an essential oil so it shouldn't irritate, but for those with allergies it's important to take into account.

Its texture is jelly but still very moisturizing. I used it in the morning under the sunscreen and it works great. It leaves a bit of a sticky feeling but sunscreen on top neutralizes it.

I also really like to combine it with the Medicicub. Works great.

Klairs market it for acne prone skin, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work for all skin types.

My skin just loves this whole series, and whenever I use it I notice that my skin barrier is stronger, there is less redness, and the skin is also more flexible, glowing and "happy" ❤️
