Dear, Klairs Blue Caffeine Full Cover Eye Patch 80g/60 patches

I've never seen patches like these before! Klairs' new patches cover not just the under-eye area, but also the eyelids and the outer corners of the eyes.

As someone whose eyelids swell up every few months, the moment I saw them I rushed to buy them without a second thought. When my allergies flare up, my eyelids swell, and after the swelling goes down I'm left with dryness to the point of flaking, sometimes for quite a while. So cool hydrogel patches, packed with good hydrating ingredients, that reach the eyelids too? To me, that sounded like a dream.

The last time I had allergies, I was actually looking for a product like this and couldn't find one. Klairs read my mind 😂

As for the ingredients, they contain:

• Glycerin, sodium PCA, sodium lactate and amino acids - hydrating ingredients that help draw water into the skin and keep it hydrated.
• 2% niacinamide - can help strengthen the skin barrier and reduce moisture loss.
• Panthenol - for hydration and skin barrier support. The formula also contains allantoin.
• Caffeine - can help reduce puffiness.
• Peptides and growth factors - including a copper peptide, which has been studied in relation to skin repair and collagen production.
• No fragrance, essential oils or drying alcohol.

At first, it takes a little time to figure out how to position them correctly, but once you get the hang of it, it's quick and easy. I recommend putting them on before bed, simply because they're not that comfortable when your eyes are open.

In the morning, the skin around my eyes and on my eyelids feels much more hydrated and nice to the touch. They haven't made my dark circles disappear or produced some dramatic change, but I can definitely feel the extra hydration.

Just keep in mind that the shape doesn't fit me perfectly, and that probably also depends on the shape of your eyes.

I haven't had a chance to try them when my eyelids are swollen and irritated yet (and hopefully I won't need to 🤞), so I still don't know whether they'll help me in that situation too.

⚠️ Of course, this isn't a medical treatment, but one of my doctor's recommendations was to keep the area cool to reduce the swelling from the allergy. It depends on the individual case and requires a medical diagnosis.

For me, the cooling and hydration that reach the eyelids too are exactly what I was looking for in this product. To me, it isn't a gimmick.
