I came to this mask because I was looking for a replacement for the legendary Lange lip mask, and I'm happy to say that to my surprise I found an even better one.
I stopped buying the Lange mask when I started buying cruelty-free (Lange tests on animals), and since then I lacked good moisture for my lips at night. Something that will give both results and a good and fun experience to use.
The Cosrx mask contains petrolatum first. Petrolatum, the so-called "Vaseline", is the most occlusive ingredient found to date. That is, the ingredient that keeps moisture in the best way. In addition to it, it contains softening ingredients, oils and wax that give texture to the formula. Relatively at the end of the list there are some ingredients that are extracted from honey such as propolis extract and pure honey. Honey is excellent for moisturizing, soothing and is also antibacterial. The mask does not contain essential oils, alcohol or fragrance. Fragrance is a common thing in such products, which can cause slight irritation to the lips and cause the opposite result and a kind of addiction to the product. That's why it's great that the mask doesn't contain fragrance.
The experience that the product gives is excellent in my opinion. The texture is fun and not greasy. Gives a perfect shine to the lips and is even fun to use as a transparent lipstick. It kept my lips moisturized and healthy looking. Stays stable overnight.
The price is expensive relative to the size of the product. I bought it for $13. But in my opinion it's really worth it because the product is good and it lasts a long time (only lips after all).
It's not a must-have product for me. You can use pure petrolatum and it is much more economical. It's an "extra" product, something for pampering that gives both an experience and a sense of luxury as well as results😊
