Australian Skin Cancer Cancer Council sunscreen. Their proceeds are donated to research and development against skin cancer 🩷
It's an Australian sunscreen, and for those who don't know, Australians have very high standards for sun protection and water resistance because they have a big skin cancer problem in Australia. This specific sunscreen is actually not water resistant but from my personal feeling it is relatively sweat resistant.
It is based on 2 old generation chemical filters and one new one. The old chemical filters tend to be more irritating and less stable, so it's important to me to have at least more new-generation UV filters to balance the formula.
Beyond that, it has no special ingredients, only filters and preservatives. free of fragrance, alcohol, and essential oils. I noticed that the Australian sunscreens are very focused on protection and not beyond that.
I tried using it on my face a few times, it's light and pleasant, absorbs easily, isn't greasy and doesn't leave a noticeable white cast marks, but it did irritate my eyes and I couldn't use it much. It's really good for the body.
They market it as a matte sunscreen, but it's not exactly the most matte. It is not shiny, but not very matte either, looks relatively natural.
In conclusion, this is a great sunscreen for the body, there are better ones for the face in my opinion.
I ordered it from YesStyle.
The brand is cruelty-free 🐰❤️
