Bondi Sands Self-Tanner

After I tried and loved the Bondi Sands tanning mousse for the body, they also released one in serum form that is suitable for the face.

Artificial tans give a temporary color that can last for a week or two and really look like a tan to anything, only without the part of frying in the sun 😉

All artificial tanners contain the ingredient Dihydroxyacetone, or DHA for short. This is the ingredient that makes the effect of the artificial tan.

Besides the tanning ingredient, it also contains standard hydrating ingredients such as jojoba oil and glycerin, and it does not contain fragrance or drying alcohol.

They have 4 different shades that should suit different skin tones. They have a matching questionnaire on the website, and I got the purple (magenta) for both the body and the face. It looks natural on me, not orange or anything like that🫣

It is convenient to use, just apply to the face in the evening routine. It is better to use gloves so that you don't get stains on your hands.

The result is uniform and gentle, without spots, and also gradually decreases in uniformity after about a week or so (depending on your skin and your skincare routine).

The only downside is that DHA tends to be very drying (but it's certainly less damaging to the skin than sunlight).
