The Koreans listened to us and finally started launching body sunscreens!
This time it's a Beauty of Joseon sunscreen, in a 150ml size, with SPF50+ and water resistance.
It's a new-generation chemical sunscreen containing four different UV filters.
Besides the filters, it contains:
- Glycerin and propanediol — for hydration.
- Ceramide NP — to support the skin barrier and retain moisture.
- Fermented rice — contributes moisture and provides antioxidant activity.
- No fragrance, essential oils or drying alcohol.
It's super lightweight and absorbs in a second, to the point that it doesn't feel like I've applied sunscreen at all. It leaves no white cast and isn't greasy. Because it's water resistant, it's a little tacky, but this is very slight and barely noticeable.
For anyone choosing between this and the Isntree body sunscreen, I think both are excellent. Isntree is also lightweight and absorbs quickly, but Beauty of Joseon has a slightly lighter texture and absorbs even more easily.
