Beauty of Joseon Aqua-Fresh Sunscreen

Beauty of Joseon released a new sunscreen, and of course I had to try it 🙂

The first Korean Beauty of Joseon sunscreen is probably the most well-known sunscreen in the Western world, and perhaps the first Korean sunscreen that gained momentum here, and even recently they started selling it in a supermarket in Israel. In Korea Beauty of Joseon is not so well known, but for the rest of the world it really changed everything they used to think about sunscreens. This was the first time that people discovered that it was possible to produce a light, pleasant sunscreen that does not leave a noticeable white cast or greasy skin, without breaking the bank.

At the same time, there was a lot of negative criticism about it. There were all kinds of rumors that he is not a good defender, which were probably spread by the western cosmetics companies who did not know how to face the tough competition (by the way, this is not true. It passed all the tests. I have a detailed blog post about it ❤️). In addition, some people with acneic skin say that it made their acne worse. I think that any very popular product will have good and bad reviews, because we are individuals. Anyway, enough talking about the previous sunscreen, let's talk about the new version-

Aqua Fresh is an even lighter sunscreen than the previous one! Just like his name, he is cavalier and sweet.

It is based on 5 new generation chemical filters, and provides maximum protection of SPF50+ and PA++++. It has been tested twice in Korea and outside Korea.

Besides the protection, it contains good and popular ingredients in Korean cosmetics, such as:

✅ Rice oil and rice extract - brightening and antioxidant.

✅ Oats - soothing, strengthens the skin barrier.

✅ ceramides, glycerin, and hyaluronic acid - for moisture and a healthy skin barrier.

✅ Beta glucan and panthenol - soothe and strengthen the skin barrier.

✅ Phytosphingosine- a type of lipid that can treat acne.

✅ free of fragrance, alcohol, and essential oils.

They are not very very different, but it seems that here they tried to adapt the sunscreen for oily skin. I loved it, it really is a sunscreen for people who hate sunscreen 😂 but I prefer the more "rich" version because my skin is dry. I'm sure people with oily skin will prefer the new one.

What's more, it does give a subtle and natural glow. It doesn't slow down (as I've seen some bloggers claim it does), so keep that in mind.

Just note that it is not water resistant so do not take it to the beach / pool / sports activities.
